Robert Lee Witt

Robert Lee Witt, age 84, lifelong resident of Norman, passed away March 30, 2021.  He was born January 28, 1937, to the late Lee and Hattie Witt.  Robert served as a firefighter for the City of Norman for 21 years, retiring in December of 1978.  He also owned a grass nursey, raised cows and grew hay.  He enjoyed his time working on his farm.  Robert also built his home and had other construction projects.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Gloria Witt; daughter, Donna Keeble of Texas; son, Robert G. Witt and his wife Elaine of Norman; step daughter, Vicki Risener of Norman; step son, Robert Pyle of Norman; sister, Eunice Fox of Moore; eight grandchildren, Cody Keeble, Emily Packer, Brett Witt, Devin Witt, Derek Pyle, Jacob Pyle, Angie Dawson and Taylor Risener; and six great grandchildren, Jameson and Addison Keeble, Brayden, Kyra, Charley and Jackson Witt.  In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis and Leon Witt.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
