Roy G. Millsap

Roy G. Millsap, age 78, of Norman, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022.  He was born December 11, 1943, to the late Wesley and Blanche Millsap, in Lexington, Oklahoma, and spent most of his life residing in Cleveland County.  Roy worked in the HVAC industry, and he was in a partnership with Mize Heating and Air, and later retired from the University of Oklahoma.

Roy loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising livestock and watching rodeo.  A large supporter of the Cleveland County Fair, Roy served on the fair board in the livestock division.  He was also a supporter of Future Farmers of America, and received an honorary State FFA degree in 1987.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Millsap; two daughters, Shiela Ely and her husband K.C., Lisa Scheirman and her husband John; one son, David Millsap; his twin brother, Troy Millsap; and three grandchildren, Taylor Ely, Hannah Millsap and Matthew Ely.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Millsap; and his sister, Mary Lucille Burkett.
