Vivian June McCracken-Richardson, 94, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away, Thursday, April 23, 2020, surrounded by those who loved her dearly. She was born on January 23, 1926, in Rosehill, Oklahoma, to William Henry Atkerson, and Edith Bebb-Atkerson.

She grew up in Rosehill and moved to Norman High School where she graduated from Norman High School. She had various jobs throughout her life but retired from the Cleveland County Clerk’s Office. She enjoyed traveling the world in the motorhome with her spouse and later with her sister Rosemary, and they hit the road together as the only two women in the travel club. Once she was no longer able to travel the world, she invested much of her time with her great-granddaughter Makayla who was the absolute apple of her eye.  She was always very devoted to her faith and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents William Henry Atkerson, and Edith Bebb-Atkerson, her husband Leroy McCracken, her husband B.R. Richardson, her two sisters Rosemary McCracken and Helen Statum, her two brother J.C. Atkerson and George Atkerson, and son in law Michael Stewart. Vivian June McCracken is survived, by her daughter Carlene and her husband Charles Atkinson, of Oklahoma City, her daughter Beverly J. Kirk of Norman, her daughter Janice and her husband Mike Griffin of Muskogee, her daughter Anita Stewart of Norman, her grandson Chuck and his wife Jean Atkinson of Nashville, granddaughter Kim Masters of Oklahoma City, granddaughter Tracey and her husband Chuck Barnes of Washington, her grandson Jeffrey and his wife Julie Stewart of Norman, and her granddaughter Katie McGuire of Norman. Her great-grandchildren, Makayla and Keylee McGuire of Norman, Abbigail and Camden Barnes or Washington, Kiersten and Dakeline Stewart of Norman, Morgan and her spouse Tyler Jones of Nashville, Carter Atkinson, of Nashville, Maddison and her spouse Cal Serven of Oklahoma City, Luke and Evan Masters of Oklahoma City, as well as many other niece and nephews.

The visitation will be held Sunday, April 26th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Havenbrook Funeral Home, located at 3401 Havenbrook Street, in Norman. A family only celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., at Immanuel Baptist Church of Norman. The service will be available via livestream. A graveside service will follow at Resthaven Memory gardens that is open to family and friends at approximately 11:30 a.m while still conforming to restriction guidelines and gathering numbers.
