It is March 2018 and I am just now hearing of his passing. I am so sorry. I really enjoyed the opportunity to work with him presenting to youth classes. He is missed.

Dear Judy and family,
My sincere sympathy to you on Bill's death. I remember Bill as a very kind, gentle guy and it is evident he led a meaningful life, which is what we all aspire to. I miss the old days when the Museum was small and we knew everyone. I will keep fond memories of you, Judy, and Bill. Love, Lynn

I knew Bill since the early 1950s. I was an WWII orphan and had to sign a paper in his office that proved I was doing well in my OU classes to receive the government war orphans' educational benefit. Later we got acquainted through the Presbyterian church. During the last few years we enjoyed outings with the Presbyterian Adult Interest Center. I liked hearing his WWII stories. His 26th Division served by my father's 35th Division...sometimes just a hill away from each other.
