I have had the privilege to be part of Bill‘s and Dolores‘ family back in 1991/92 when I was an exchange student at OU. He, his lovely wife Dolores, and their children gave me the unique opportunity to experience their friendship and hospitality during many visits to their home during my stay at OU. Some of these visits, like the great Thanksgiving dinners, are still very vivid in my memory after so many year. Thanks to all of you!

With great sadness did I learn of Bill’s passing away last year - while I was actually planning a visit to Norman, returning after 18 years. I was too late.

My thoughts are with all of you from “my” family.

My earliest memories of Bill and Delores is between their family and ours we took up a majority of what seemed to be 4 pews at mass. I will always remember how Bill would shake my hand as he would pass us on the way to communion.

I was deeply sadden as Father Jim announced Bill's passing tonight at Mass.
