Dear Margaret and Polly, so sorry to see that your mother has passed away, and to learn that your dad and David have also. I enjoyed your parents and you three kids. I'm sorry also that I lost track of your family after we moved away from Ponca City but I have thought about you all over the years. You may remember that I rented an upstairs apartment from your patents on S. 8th St. until Joy and I got married in 1966. I'm the one whose car disappeared from the driveway on my wedding day and was later found a block away stuffed to the ceiling with newspapers. No one seemed to know how it got there, but I think I know. Anyway, I pray that our loving God will richly bless and comfort you and your families during this difficult time. Love and prayers, Charles Tate

Hi Charles...so good to hear from you and thank you for he kind words! Of course I remember you. I also remember several tricks we played on you! You were such a good sport...until you'd had enough. I remember Vaseline on your door knob. Did we put balloons...many balloons in your apartment or car? I also remember many great talks we had on that grand front porch. And I remember this beautiful voice at my wedding! We are still married...will be 50 years on May 27th. Hope you and yours are well. Take care, old friend!

Hi Margaret, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Please email me when you have a chance so we can catch up on 50 years of memories. Joy and I are doing well for old(er) folks - still kicking, just not as high as before. HELLO to Polly also, who may not remember me. Hope you and your families are doing well. Love to all, Charles

So sorry to hear about Mary Jane passing away. Mary Jane and Walt were both such special people. As I was growing up they square danced and were very close friends with my parents. My brother and I were the only little kids their group of friends had and they always treated us so special. I have so many fond and fun memories of them. I'm sure her and Walt are rejoicing being together again. My deepest sympathy for all of your family.

Thank you, Jennifer. They were the very best "people". I miss my mother something fierce. My request from her was that she wait for me so that I'd never have to be without her. Just doesn't work that way. She was such a loving mother and person.

I was so very sorry to read of Mary Jane's passing. I have many fond memories of her at both Woodlands and Community Christian. She, and your entire family, were a big part of my growing up years. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time as you prepare for her homecoming. May the many wonderful memories and the love of family and friends be a comfort to you. She was special to the Stanley family.

So very sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolence and deepest sympathy. It is heartbreaking to lose a loved one, no matter what the age, its always too soon. But there is hope. Soon God's perfect government will rule over mankind. (Matthew 6;10) Those in the memorial tombs will be resurrected (John 5:28,29 John 11:11,13) to a Paradise earth restore (Luke 23:43 Psalm 37:11, 29) and death will be no more (Revelation 21:4)
