Dr. Paul Joseph Studebaker, 87, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away February 17, 2017. Joe was born December 12, 1929 in Westphalia, Kansas to Charles W. Studebaker and Pearl E. Bowers.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Studebaker, one daughter Lena Gaye Titus, and his brother Don Studebaker.

Joe was many things to many people. He was a proud member of the U.S. Airforce, a teacher and later a professor and administrator professionally. He was also a dad to his daughters, and a foster dad to more than 50 foster children. He and Wanda travelled all over the world, living in Okinawa for 6 years. He was an avid Sooner football fan, and a school bus driver for the Norman School System after retirement. Most of all he loved his wife, his family and nearly every person he ever met.

Joe is survived by three daughters; Ann Stuart and husband David, Lorraine Kesterke and husband Mike, and Rosina Sloan; grandchildren, Kathy Stevens and husband Mark, Jackie Parker and husband Mike, Misty Snider and husband Eric, Len Stuart and wife Tammie, Lindsey Stuart, Lacey Stuart, and Laura Stuart; and eleven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at 1:00p.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel.
