My parents, Jim & Bunny Davis, were old friends of your mom & dad's. They took many trips together....one to Scandinavia, a trip around Wales & Northern England, one to the Balkans, another to Australia & New Zealand and I know Jerry went with my folks to the Galapagos Islands. And we all remember hanging out with both of them in Cancun for some years. Jerry would come and take my girls for walks to find ruins, lizards etc. They were also in the gourmet group & mom & Marynette were in Military Wives together. Mom passed away in 2006 but Dad is still chugging along at home, turning 97 this month. He uses a walker now so he was having trouble getting to Marynette's service at St. John's but we were having fun reminiscing on the phone. Both my family & my sister & her family live here in the Kansas City area, but we as well as my kids remember your parents fondly. Dad said he would get a card off, but know that we have your family in our thoughts and prayers.
