My sincere condolences to the Shaw family at this time of loss. Losing a loved one in death is one of the hardest things to handle. May you find comfort in God's word in the scriptures such as John 5: 28,29. God promises that our precious loved ones in his memory will return to life again. How wonderful to look forward to seeing him in the resurrection!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the members of B K's family. B K will always be remembered by the members of Boy Scout troop 217. His guidance and loving help enabled many young boys to become young men that respected the great outdoor experience. B K was the go-to adult for our Hunter/Safety program provided to the boys each Fall. He loved teaching gun safety, showing the boys the experience of black powder shooting, how to use and respect a long rifle, and even how to shoot a few clays. I will never forget the look on his face when a young scout hit his first clay pigeon. In the evening he would take the older scouts on a Dove hunt, and if they had good luck, he would help make dove pot pie for everyone to enjoy. B K will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him, learning from his experiences and the memories they share.
